As a family, we have always valued the community around us. We aim to make an impact in the food, justice, & medical industries.
Our Impact
Since 2014, we have given over $50,000 to various charities, institutions, and groups. These groups are community partners who support our five main principles.

Teachers, professors, caregivers, parents, etc. Students are our future and investing in them is an investment in our future.

FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE - making sure laws work for us all
"The United States is home to 5% of the world's population but 25% of the world's prisoners. Think about that." - President Barack Obama. How do we change that? By support groups that prioritize justice, prison reform, etc
HUNGER SOLUTIONS - servicing people, & groups that matter
1 in 6 children in the United States lives with hunger. More than 12 million children in the United States live in "food insecure" homes, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). That means those families don't have enough food for every family member to lead a healthy life. We want to change this.
MEDICAL SERVICES - working towards equity & better health
Health insurance statistics show that unexpected medical costs in the United States can burn through savings fast. As a result, 4% of Americans will declare medical bankruptcy to get by.

Peterson plans to use her degree to help struggling communities in her neighborhood. From there, she'll expand her reach to global medicine, preventative care and minority well-being. She started her own blog, titled Dr. Rox, as a way to share her interests in medicine, fashion, faith and other verticals with her peers.
